1. Student activities and services may be funded from the student activity and service fee. Budget requests for each organization shall be prepared jointly by the students and the sponsor of the organization. Overall coordination in the budgetary process shall be provided by the Vice President of Student Services.

2. Funds budgeted for student activities and services shall be spent in accordance with established college policies and procedures and shall be expended for the benefit of the student body in general.

3. The membership of the Student Activities and Athletics Committee shall be comprised of at least 50% students with representation from each campus. The budget prepared shall be based on an estimate of total funds generated from this fee as well as an estimate of funds carried forward from the previous year.
